Start By:

  1. Remove the water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Water Pump - Remove".


NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

  1. Remove elbow assembly (1) .

  1. Remove cover (3) from housing assembly (7) . Remove O-ring seal (2) and O-ring seal (4) .

  1. Hold hex washer (14) . Remove hex socket head bolt (15) .

  1. Remove bearing (13) .

  1. Use Tooling (C) in order to remove gear (12) .

  1. Use Tooling (B) in order to remove retaining ring (11) . Remove inner bearing (10) .

  1. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove impeller (5) .

  1. Use a suitable press to remove shaft assembly (9) from housing assembly (7) .

  1. Remove water seal (6) .

  1. Remove oil seal (8) .
